Brax DSP Black High-end Audio Processor - Black Finish

BRAX DSP has gone through the longest and most intensive development process in the history of Audiotec Fischer. Awaited by many customers around the world, it is announced with pride as the most advanced digital signal processor that, without a doubt, redefines both sound quality and its functionality. It is not only the first DSP on the market that deserves to bear the famous BRAX logo, but also elevates the standard of performance to an unmatched level. Audiotec Fischer spared no effort in taking every single detail of this technological masterpiece to the extremes. The "heart" consists of no less than three of the most advanced 64-bit fixed-point Sigma350 audio DSPs with an incredible processing power of 3.6 billion MAC operations per second. This enables the entire system to run at a native sampling frequency of 192 kHz, extending the audio frequency range to 80 kHz. Signal conversion is handled by the best Asahi Kasei A/D and D/A converters with specifications beyond imagination.

Enormous care has been taken in the design of the power supply, which is the essential foundation for perfect sound quality. A series of fifty-five voltage regulators cleans and stabilizes all power supply voltages for each individual stage separately. A new high-performance 32-bit CoProcessor (ACO) oversees every operation and ensures faster communication with the DSP PC-Tool software and the optional DIRECTOR remote control. But beyond all its technical merits, BRAX DSP marks the beginning of a new era also in terms of connectivity. Its exclusive modular concept allows you to configure analog, digital or a mix of input and output connections. It is hard to imagine that with this flexibility the BRAX DSP is not able to support every type of system configuration, neither today nor in the future. The "total work of art" is completed by a mechanical concept that gives the impression of immortality at first sight.

The DSP price shown is indicative and may vary depending on the configuration chosen. Before proceeding with your purchase, you must fill out the configuration form to be requested via email: informazioni@rgsound.it. Once we receive the email with the completed form, we will send you the correct price.

The manufacturer has decided to adopt this method to offer a product that best meets the customer's specific needs. It is not "mandatory" to insert all input and output modules: you can save by choosing only the ones you actually need, while the complete configuration involves a higher cost. By default, the product includes only one standard digital input module, so you can choose not to select additional modules if an analog input is not required. As for the output modules, on the other hand, they are not included and you must select at least one to proceed with the order. Furthermore, you can choose different chips for the output modules.
