Gold-plated connectors and speaker terminal, the amplifiers in the XC series offer greater conductivity and low signal loss. Gold has lower electrical and contact resistance, which prevents voltage drops, noise, overheating and other problems.

XR2220 MOS-FET power amplifier

There is only one way in which Clarion source units are able to deliver maximum linearity and power output: MOS-FET amplification, that is metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor amplification. Smaller and more efficient than conventional power supplies, the MOS-FET amplification circuit delivers power with reduced distortion and no On/Off switching noise. You can turn up the volume to the max or opt for effortless listening. Either way, the sound will be transparent.

Low-pass crossover (XR2220)

The XR2220 amplifiers have integrated low-pass filters. This allows for easy configuration of more complex audio systems that integrate multiple amplifiers and subwoofers.
