Sony's 8-channel Elevated Standard amplifier from the Mobile ES XM-8ES series increases the volume of your music while maintaining pristine, clear and complete sound and impact. Capable of handling high-resolution sources and programs, this amplifier will make you feel like you're standing alongside the musicians in the studio or on stage. With eight output channels of 100 watts RMS per channel, the available power is sufficient to drive almost any combination of speakers. Versatile power and signal configuration.

The XM-8ES is capable of powering an active 3-way stereo system with a front stage and a rear fill system composed of pairs of tweeters, midrange and front woofers and a pair of rear coaxial speakers. Or you can use the amplifier to power four 100-watt speakers each and to drive two 330-watt RMS subwoofers each from bridged channels in a heavy bass front/rear/sub system configuration. The wide range of adjustable high-pass, low-pass and band-pass filters allows you to tune the sound to adapt to any combination of tweeters, speakers and subwoofers. The preamp outputs allow you to easily add another amplifier to the system to power the subwoofers or other speakers.
