JL Audio XD800/8v2 8-channel amplifier with a power of 75/100 watts x 4 @ 4/2 Ohm

XD800/8v2 is the first Class D amplifier in the industry to offer eight channels of full-range output capability and is capable of delivering 100 watts on each of its eight channels at 2 ohm (14.4 V, 1% THD). The innovation that makes this much power possible in such a small chassis is our ultra-high-speed NexD™ switching circuit design, which allows full-bandwidth Class D operation with extremely low distortion and exceptional efficiency.


JL Audio XD800/8v2 includes a 12 dB/octave filter for each channel bank, which can be configured as a low-pass or high-pass filter and offers a continuously variable crossover frequency selection from 50-500 Hz. It also includes the Spec v2 feature set, which consists of auto-on functionality (via signal sensing or DC offset sensing) and a dual differential balanced input section capable of handling a wide range of input voltage levels. With the addition of an optional HD-RLC remote level control (sold separately), you will have the ability to control the level of two, four, or all eight amplifier channel levels from the head unit location.

Here are some examples of how the XD800/8v2 amplifier can be used:

Eight-channel satellite amplifier: drive four pairs of speakers with 75 W x 8

Big Four Channel Satellite Amp: bridge to produce 200W x 4 @ 4Ω

Six-channel system amplifier: drive front and rear satellites with 75 W x 4 @ 4Ω, plus two 4Ω subwoofers with 200 W each.

Six-channel staggered satellite amplifier: front speakers with 200W x 2 @ 4Ω, plus four 4Ω speakers with 75W each.

Five-channel staggered satellite amplifier: drive three front speakers with rear speakers 200 W @ 4Ω + with 75 W x 2.

Four-channel system amp: drive left and right speakers with 200 W x 2 @ 4Ω, plus two 4Ω subwoofers with 200 W each.

This amplifier features a black finish with powder coating and a brushed aluminum cover with seal for the controls.
