The XD1000/5v2 delivers up to 1000 W of clean power and is ideal for an audiophile-type subwoofer plus four satellite systems. With this powerful amplifier, you can drive two pairs of quality component speaker systems with plenty of clean power (75 W x 4 @ 4 Ω), while also providing a robust 600 W of power to a subwoofer system. The innovation that makes this power possible in such a compact chassis is our NexD switching amplifier design.

JL Audio XD1000/5V2 includes a 12 dB/octave high-pass filter for a main channel pair, a 12 dB octave high-pass or band-pass filter for the other main channel pair, and a variable slope low-pass filter for the subwoofer channel. All three filters offer continuously variable cutoff frequency selection from 50-500 Hz. The filters on this amplifier can also be configured as a true 3-way crossover, with a low-pass filter for the subwoofer channel, a band-pass filter on Ch. 3 and 4, and a high-pass filter on Ch. 1 and 2. An "x10" multiplier switch on cap. The high-pass filter 1 and 2 allows you to adjust the cutoff frequency from 50-500 Hz or 500-5000 Hz.
