The HELIX V EIGHTEEN DSP is the all-in-one tool for anyone with insatiable ambitions when it comes to audio systems and sets new standards for the improvement and implementation of highly complex audio configurations. This 18-channel amplifier combines exceptional sound quality and high performance, offering an impressive musical experience even for the most demanding audiophiles. It also features an equal number of 18 high-level inputs with input sensitivity up to 32 V RMS, allowing 1:1 routing between inputs and outputs. Especially when replacing existing components presents an obstacle and expansion is only possible through another amplifier, the V EIGHTEEN DSP, with its extensive adaptation capabilities, is the ideal solution. The management of twenty separate DSP channels is entrusted to two extremely powerful "fixed-point" audio DSPs with 64-bit resolution, in combination with the exclusive DSP PC-Tool.

The Smart Control Port (SCP) simplifies the connection of accessories, providing a compact and secure connection together with integrated power for remote controls such as CONDUCTOR or DIRECTOR. The integrated HEC slot allows system expansions such as Bluetooth® HD audio streaming, high-resolution audio streaming via USB and more. Audiotec Fischer's new multi-stage "Virtual Channel Processing", in combination with the easy-to-use DSP PC-Tool software, makes it easy to implement even very complex system configurations. Additionally, it allows free assignment of proprietary audio FX functions, such as "RealCenter" or "Augmented Bass Processing". The amplifier is equipped with the 32-bit ACO platform, which not only performs all control tasks at ultra-high speed, but also manages a range of audio functions: Sound effects such as Augmented Bass Processing or Real Center, as well as an 18-channel input EQ that includes the Input Signal Analyzer (ISA) for easy analysis and compensation of input signals from OE radios, which already include a newly configured sound setup. The HELIX V EIGHTEEN DSP can be easily configured via the professional and extremely intuitive DSP PC-Tool 5.

The numerous setting options leave nothing to be desired and guarantee extremely precise sound adjustment even for complex system configurations. Moreover, thanks to the new proprietary TuneEQ function for automatic frequency response correction, much time is saved in sound optimization. The sound performance is as impressive as its range of functions. The highly efficient Class GD technology and the excellent BurrBrown A/D and D/A converters ensure optimal sound performance, the best possible signal-to-noise ratio and minimal distortion. Therefore, despite the exceptionally high flexibility and super-compact design, this amplifier is a sound masterpiece that does not need to hide at all from the absolute top class.

TwinDSP Power
The V EIGHTEEN DSP contains two of the most powerful 64-bit audio signal processors from Analog Devices, with exceptional overall computational power of 2.4 billion MAC operations per second. The TwinDSP Power concept makes the 20 separately processed channels and numerous new audio functions possible. The amplifier incorporates an extraordinary and powerful latest-generation 32-bit coprocessor for all monitoring and communication tasks, both internal and external. Compared to the previous 8-bit generation, this MCU achieves much higher speeds regarding setting switching and data communication with our DSP PC-Tool software.
