ROCKFORD FOSGATE POWER T600-2 2-Channel Power Series Amplifier

The Power T600-2 is a 2-channel amplifier capable of producing 300 Watts on each channel at 2 Ohm.

With the Power series of amplifiers, Rockford Fosgate gives us a glimpse into the future and shows us how the ideal car audio amplifier will be built. Sound quality, power and design are harmoniously blended in a highly technological and appealing mix.
Direct descendants of the larger forced-ventilation brothers, the new Power amplifiers inherit the circuit solutions that have always made Rockford Fosgate the leader in the industry, with the addition of the new DTM technology with radial heat dissipation that allowed designers to drastically reduce the total size of the heatsink and therefore the chassis. The result is a definitive amplifier, thanks to its compact size, unexpected current delivery capabilities and audiophile sound quality.


To be able to dissipate the heat generated by the powerful output circuits, the heatsink assumes an unusual but effective shape and integrates vertical channeling baffles for convective airflow, so as to increase the amount of air flowing over it. The radial arrangement, rather than linear, of the circuits and devices that produce heat, reduces the dangerous thermal differences within the unit and significantly lowers its average operating temperature, thus making the power supply and amplification devices work in the zone of greater linearity.
Obviously, all Rockford Fosgate proprietary technologies are present in their most recent and effective versions: the differential inputs, capable of canceling noise picked up by the connection cables, the special MosFET transistors, specifically built in a metal TO-247 package for greater heat transfer and the exclusive MEHSA3 metal isolators that reduce harmonic distortion and extend the life of the audio outputs.

So many innovative technologies produce a unique synergy among the various electronic sections: sound quality, power output, efficiency and reliability are at maximum levels. The external appearance is also unusual and expresses the uniqueness of the design, thanks to the glossy top panel that also has the function of concealing the input/output connections. Nothing is conventional, exactly as a Rockford Fosgate amplifier should be.
