The SS3000-24V monoblock utilizes an exclusive circuit designed by DD that combines a full bridge architecture with high current devices typically reserved for half bridge amplifiers. This hybrid approach delivers performance and speed across the entire frequency range, with high clean output power, all housed in a compact and highly efficient chassis. Professional audio systems, such as stunt walls equipped with mid-woofers and high frequency drivers, will greatly benefit from the low noise floor. Systems with powerful bass will get the most from the 3000 watts produced by the DUAL toroidal power supply and oversized capacitors, capable of powerfully reproducing low frequency passages.

The SS amplifiers have earned a reputation as high speed, high current Class D designs, capable of delivering great power and superior sound quality in compact dimensions. Like all DD amplifiers, every major component is name brand. They use MOSFETs and high current output devices, enhanced power capacitors and two extremely efficient transformers, all on a thermally robust PCB. The housing includes multiple discrete air vents and the classic DD AUDIO heat sink, which features 50% thicker side wall thickness compared to industry standards and extra long fins to increase surface area and ensure maximum cooling.
