Hertz SP 4.500 Compact Class D Amplifier

SP 4.500 is the first Hertz amplifier equipped with the renewed Hertz ADC (Advanced D-Class) output stage, which achieves 85% efficiency and delivers impressive power of 90 x 4 (4Ω) W RMS or 300 W x 2 (4Ω) W RMS bridged, with ultracompact dimensions of 192.7 (7.58) x 130 (5.1) mm (in.) x 49 (1.9). Being ultracompact with impressive power, the SP 4.500 is the ideal choice for motorcycle applications and for installations under car seats of sports cars and behind truck seats.

Hertz ADC technology ensures SP amplifiers superior performance to standard ultracompact amplifiers, offering exceptional S/N ratio and THD specifications and almost completely eliminating EMI and RFI noise, for unmatched sound quality.

The versatility of four-channel models is perfect for driving high-power front speakers (4Ω) with a bridged subwoofer (4Ω).

SP amplifiers are fully protected against overheating and DC outputs, immediately entering protection mode (red LED on) to save the speaker system.

The IP55 certified aluminum chassis offers maximum protection against moisture and external agents and the absence of an internal cooling fan prevents dirt accumulation. The SP amplifier main board is equipped with conformal coating layers to prevent damage caused by internal condensation, a condition that can occur when hot and humid air meets the amplifier chassis at lower temperature.

SP amplifiers are equipped with power cable, line inputs and speaker outputs sealed, for a bomb-proof motorcycle application that ensures safe power delivery even in the worst weather conditions. The solid power supply wiring ensures an ultra-stable power and ground connection, avoiding any loss of contact caused by vibrations. Thanks to its specific design, SP amplifiers are the best option for motorcycle, marine and Powersport applications.
