Using our exclusive NexD™ high-speed switching technologies, the ultracompact RD400/4 amplifier is designed to deliver high audio output power, with incredible efficiency and low distortion. Don't be fooled by its modern style and compact size, this small powerhouse produces 100 watts of crystal-clear audio from each of its four channels at 2 ohms (14.4 V, 1% THD) and is fully bridge-capable, so it can be used as a 3-channel amplifier or as a 2-channel amplifier producing enormous power of 200 W x 2 at 4 ohms.

For your convenience, the RD400/4 controls are located on top of the amplifier, under a protective cover, with all connections positioned along one side of the chassis. Studio-level signal processing functionality includes 12 dB/octave high-pass or low-pass filters (defeatable) for each pair of channels, with continuous frequency selection from 50 to 500 Hz and dual-range inputs with differential balanced capable of accepting most input voltage levels. Automatic turn-on functionality (via signal detection or DC offset detection) is standard equipment, along with the newest input-type switches to connect stereo output channels without the need to use Y adapters.

Also included with your RD400/4 are integrated LED clipping indicators. This newest and innovative feature allows you to easily set your amplifier's input sensitivity settings, quickly and precisely, without the need for special equipment. You will also find a series of preamp outputs at hand, so you can transmit signals to another amplifier, with almost no effort. The RD400/4 features a durable black powder-coated finish and a two-color LED light strip mounted on top that signals the status and overall conditions.
