Mosconi PRO 2|30 EVO 24V 2-Channel Class D Amplifier

The Mosconi PRO 2|30 EVO 24V is an amplifier based on a fully synchronized Class D platform, designed to keep the operation of the entire amplification system under control. The architecture integrates power supply, output stages and monitoring functions within a single centrally controlled system.

Unlike many traditional Class D architectures, in which the different sections of the amplifier can use separate clock generators, the PRO 2|30 EVO uses a common time base. A central microprocessor synchronizes the switching operations of the power supply and audio stages, as well as managing control and monitoring functions. This configuration allows to reduce the interference generated by the interaction between different clock sources and to make the electrical behavior of the amplifier more controllable and predictable. The result is stable operation, with high efficiency and more precise audio signal management.

A central element of the design is the professional **4-layer** printed circuit board, equipped with dedicated planes for power supply and ground. This structure helps reduce critical impedances in the current and signal paths, improving power distribution and high frequency stability. The PCB thus becomes an integral part of the amplifier's electrical design and the management of its electromagnetic behavior.

The output stages also operate with a switching frequency of approximately **500 kHz**, higher than that used in many traditional Class D amplifiers. The shift of switching phenomena towards higher frequencies favors more precise signal reconstruction and reduces the presence of residual components within the audio band. The central microprocessor also manages startup sequences, protection functions and monitoring of operating conditions. Firmware management thus allows to digitally coordinate the different functions of the amplifier in relation to operating conditions, such as temperature and load.

The Mosconi PRO 2|30 EVO 24V is therefore developed as a single system, in which power supply, final stages, protections and control systems are designed to work in an integrated manner.
