PP 62DSP BT main features

This Plug & Play 5/6 channel Class AB amplifier with 8 channels served by DSP processor for easy connection to original audio systems using vehicle-specific adapter cables.

Intelligent high-level input with ADEP circuit and EQs, Jack input for optional URC2A remote control, MEC slot for additional input modules such as Bluetooth audio streaming, Aux input or SPDIF optical input ...

It allows multiple configuration options (6 channel amplifier with a total of 8 DSP channels), 2 channel PreOut freely configurable for connection of other amplifiers. Input sensitivity adjustable from 5V to 11V.

The MicroSD card reader allows easy configuration of the PP62DSP without the need to directly connect a personal computer. A large number of car-specific configurations are available free online at www.audiotec-fischer.com.

Furthermore the PP 62DSP is compatible with Start/Stop, has auto turn-on function with energy saving mode that allows to significantly reduce the power consumption of the PP62DSP (or any amplifier connected to it) since no input signal is detected after 60 seconds. Please note that in many vehicles using the "CAN" system or any other internal bus system, it may happen that the car radio (and therefore the PP 62 DSP) remains "invisible" and powered on for up to 45 minutes after completely turning off the vehicle.

The latest generations of OEM car radios perform sophisticated diagnostics on connected speakers. Connecting an amplifier, error messages could be triggered with the loss of specific functions (for example Fader function). The new ADEP circuit (Advanced Diagnostics Error Protection) prevents these problems without loading the OEM radio speaker outputs.

PP62 DSP takes the amplified signal from the original or aftermarket source through the supplied PP-ISO2 cable, 2 meters in length, (5 meter cable PP-ISO 5 sold separately) and converts the amplified signal (analog) into digital signal.

It performs signal processing (electronic crossover, equalizer, time alignment), converts the appropriately processed digital signal back into analog format.

Amplifies the obtained signal driving the front, rear speakers and the subwoofer, which can remain the original ones or be replaced with higher performance models.

The resulting sound will finally be definable as hi-fi, thanks to correct speaker filtering (thanks to the active crossover) which will finally be able to reproduce a naturally appealing sound (thanks to the equalizer) and a true sound stage (thanks to time alignment) that will literally make the speakers disappear (it will be extremely difficult to distinguish their positioning) to leave space only for a new sound stage: every instrument and every artist will occupy the exact space where they were during recording, that is, music ... as it should be.
