The POWERBOX 80.6-8DSP-V5 is a DSP processor designed for advanced audio management in cars, intended to offer precise control of every parameter of the sound system. Thanks to its equalization, crossover, time alignment and dynamic signal management functions, it allows you to configure complex audio systems with high accuracy.

The system integrates a parametric equalizer up to 31 bands per channel, with independent adjustment of frequency, Q factor and gain level. The ability to select HIGH SHELF and LOW SHELF modes allows precise intervention on the extremes of the audio range, optimizing the acoustic response based on vehicle configuration and installed speakers. The time alignment function allows you to synchronize each channel with extreme precision, adjusting delays both in milliseconds and in distance. This allows you to improve the soundstage and spatial perception of listening, compensating for the different distances between the speakers and the listening point.

The DSP also includes an advanced limiter derived from technologies used in professional recording studios. The system allows you to intervene in real time on attack, release and compression parameters, offering effective control of transients and contributing to the protection of speakers during high-volume playback. The integrated active crossover provides high-pass, low-pass, band-pass and full range configurations, with adjustable slopes from 6 dB to 48 dB per octave. Different types of filters are supported, including Butterworth, Bessel and Linkwitz-Riley, to adapt the system behavior to the audio installation requirements.

Thanks to the mixer function, the POWERBOX 80.6-8DSP-V5 allows you to freely assign any input to any output, with the possibility of sum and mixing from 1% to 100%. This flexibility allows you to create customized configurations and optimize multi-channel systems even particularly complex ones. DSP management can be performed directly via smartphone app, which allows complete control of functions, presets and volume levels. The interface allows quick adjustment of settings and facilitates audio system tuning operations.
