SchAlpine's goal of providing its customers with powerful amplifiers that take up minimum space has finally been realized in PDX amplifiers. We have even developed a new way to measure these performances: the power density ratio. This ratio is obtained by dividing the total RMS power of all channels by the total displacement volume of the amplifier in cubic centimeters (LxHxD).

PDX-1.1000, for example, generates 0.27 Watts per cubic centimeter. Our competitors only achieve a power density ratio of 0.13. The PDX-1.1000 is also incredibly small and efficient. The power supply is so efficient that the amplifier does not require a heat sink. All the power is output, it does not transform into heat.
