Brax MX4 PRO Silver High End 4 Channel Amplifier Matrix Series

This masterpiece is the perfect symbiosis between state-of-the-art components and ingenious technological improvements without neglecting the heritage and tradition for which the BRAX brand is famous and appreciated worldwide. Manual selection of power transistors for the production of each BRAX amplifier - and it is no secret that the tools necessary for this selection procedure are developed internally by the company. This unique process guarantees uncompromising power and measurement data.

A significant percentage of overall performance is based on the great effort that goes into supplying all modules within the amplifier. Separate and stabilized supply voltages for every two channels ensure perfect conditions for each stage. The extremely low ESR electrolytic capacitors (specially made for Audiotec Fischer) are by now legendary, as are the encapsulated toroidal power transformers that produce more than 1,800 watts of output power. A completely revised PCB design with four massive copper layers ensures maximum current flow - so it is no wonder that MX4 PRO with its modest 4 x 300 RMS at 4/2/1 Ohm delivers more power to the speaker terminals.

The qualities of the MX4 PRO are not finished: it is a paradigm for bridging the gap between traditional amplifier technology and the digital age. Volume adjustment in combination with the BRAX DSP occurs just before the output stages that drive the speakers, needless to say this happens in the analog domain without sacrificing any signal resolution. BRAX DSP incorporates volume information into the digital SPDIF data stream which is then decoded within MX4 PRO.

This aspect alone demonstrates the commitment of the engineers to perfect sound reproduction - and this meticulousness is meant to continue throughout the production process. Each individual amplifier has its own serial number and is registered in the Brax database. So each MX4 PRO is a unique and valuable product that rightfully deserves the title of "high-end made in Germany".
