Innovation is at the center of every Morel product and the new Performance Series amplifiers have been developed with the same passion and philosophy that has distinguished Morel for more than 42 years.

As a manufacturer of high-fidelity speakers, Morel accurately recognizes how amplifiers and electronics not designed with care can ruin the potential performance of a speaker system. In this sense, the engineering directive for the MPS amplifiers was simple: to produce a series of exceptionally musical and dynamic amplifiers, with clean and uncolored power that can drive speakers to their full sonic potential.

Professional design and high-level components

To meet sonic requirements, appropriate audiophile-quality components are used to ensure higher-level performance. The MPS incorporates fully balanced differential inputs that ensure superior noise rejection and can handle up to 20 volts of signal input, thus allowing it to also accept the factory speaker level signal through RCA connections.

High-fidelity Texas Instruments OP amplifiers and low-tolerance surface-mount components maintain the integrity of the purest audio signal possible. Protection and thermal management are handled through an onboard microprocessor, allowing technicians to design the amplifier without the need for internal fuses that could hinder power delivery. Installation simplicity is an absolute priority.

Each amplifier is also designed to integrate directly with OEM audio systems through the RCA input with an adaptive connector and automatic turn-on via signal sensors or DC turn-off sensors found generally in much more expensive amplifiers. The choice of mono, four-channel, and five-channel amplifier configurations ensures that the MPS amplifiers cover almost every audio system design.
