HELIX M FOUR DSP 4-Channel Amplifier with DSP

HELIX M FOUR DSP is more than a four-channel amplifier, despite its small size, it is a powerful control center that has in total no less than ten DSP processing channels. Additionally, the amplifier offers abundant output power with 100 Watts RMS per channel on both 4 Ohm and 2 Ohm loads. Compromises in terms of sound quality have no place in a HELIX product - and this is why M FOUR DSP is equipped with all the refinement for perfect sound. Of course, excellent and separate AD and DA converters are just as natural as on the DSP board, which is completely manufactured in Germany, you will find only excellent separate AD and DA converters and an extremely powerful DSP from Analog Devices. Additionally, the six preamplifier outputs with an output voltage of 6 Volts provide more than sufficient level to drive any additional amplifier.
Maximum Flexibility
The internal amplifier section of the M FOUR DSP is also extremely variable: it can be used in 4-channel mode or, thanks to its bridging capability, it can also be configured as a 3-channel or even 2-channel amplifier. But that's not all: in connection with the six preamplifier outputs, the audio system can be expanded in different ways and upgraded to 10 channels. In combination with other amplifiers from the M series (M ONE X, M ONE, M FOUR or M SIX), there are more than sufficient possibilities to expand the number of power channels.
This makes complex multicanal systems possible, but convenient and, above all, space-saving with enormous performance.
Virtual Channel Processing
Many DSP channels need to be managed and configured correctly, so there was no question that M FOUR DSP should also be equipped with Audiotec Fischer's innovative Virtual Channel Processing. The adaptation to modern OE audio systems through an increasing number of inputs has a significant impact on the complexity of signal routing within the amplifier. Especially when multiple input signals are mixed together and then split again into multi-way systems, conventional routing concepts quickly reach their own limits, both in terms of implementation and usability. Audiotec Fischer's new multistage "Virtual Channel Processing", in combination with the recognized user-friendly PC-Tool DSP software, simplifies the realization of even very complex system configurations. Furthermore, it allows free assignment of our proprietary audio FX features such as "RealCenter" or "Augmented Bass Processing".
The Advantage of Speed - Thanks to ACO
Faster is better: the particularly powerful 32-bit ACO platform handles all control tasks and ensures significantly higher speed, especially for data communication with our PC-Tool DSP software, but also for the lightning-fast switching between a maximum of ten audio configurations. But ACO offers much more: fantastic sound effects are implemented such as Augmented Bass Processing or RealCenter, as well as a separate channel input EQ that includes the Input Signal Analyzer (ISA) for easy analysis and compensation of input signals from OE radios that already include an audio configuration "factory standard".
