Aftermarket processors and amplifiers need clean and robust line-level input signals, especially when they receive them from the speaker outputs of a factory amplifier. The Wavtech link6 line output converter can produce up to 10 volts of output per channel, which should be more than sufficient for most aftermarket devices connected.

When upgrading the audio system in a typical configuration that includes front speakers, rear speakers and subwoofer, the link6 is the perfect tool. Receiving its input from the front and rear speaker cables of the factory stereo, it can provide front, rear and subwoofer outputs for your aftermarket amplifier or amplifiers.

Some factory audio systems require summing when adding aftermarket amplifiers, since there is no full-range signal present. When this is necessary, the link6 combines the summing of the frequencies present, providing the full-range signal that your amplifiers need.

For greater flexibility, the link6 multifunctional remote control provides four unique configurations, based on the specific application requirements of the system. It can function as a subwoofer level control for fine adjustment of the amount of bass in the system or as a master volume control in more complex installations.
