Designed to produce a full 1000 watts at 2 ohms (14.4 V, 1% THD), the JD1000/1 amplifier is an excellent solution for powering subwoofers in a cost-conscious system. Our proprietary NexD™ switching technology delivers high amounts of real-world output power with excellent efficiency and extremely low distortion.

The JD1000/1 controls are located on the input panel, while power and speaker connections are found along the opposite end of the extruded aluminum chassis. Signal processing features include a 12 dB/octave low-pass filter, with continuous frequency selection from 50 to 500 Hz and a variable bass boost equalizer. Dual-range inputs and differential balanced are also available, capable of accepting line-level and speaker-level signals. Auto-turn-on functionality (via signal sensing or DC offset sensing) is standard, along with a set of preamp outputs so you can easily pass signals to another amplifier.

The JD1000/1 also features an integrated LED clipping indicator ring, which surrounds the input sensitivity control. This useful feature allows you to set your amplifier's input sensitivity quickly and precisely without special equipment. With the addition of an RBC-1 remote level control (sold separately), you can control the subwoofer level from the driver's seat.
