Hertz HP 802 Stereo Class AB Amplifier SPL Show Series

HP 802 is a stereo class AB amplifier that can deliver up to 1800W. The power supply stage has an oversized layout to ensure solidity, power and reliability even with prolonged use over time. The output stage is supplied by an oversized power supply with 4 toroidal transformers, which allow it to deliver considerable power and work stably on 1 Ohm loads.

The filter equipment is unusually complex, above the standards of electronics in this category: separate Hi-Pass and Lo-Pass filters, which together form a Band-Pass filter adjustable from 50 Hz to 10k Hz, parametric equalizer for optimizing the response on the amplified channels. A pre-out output for relaunching the signal to another identical amplifier allows the realization of a multiamplified audio system without limitation in the number of ways.

  • To deliver the high power, the power supply stage is made with 4 toroidal transformers, 8 primary capacitors of 2200uF - 105° (Low ESR) for a total of 17600uF, 8 Mosfet TO247 of 120A each and 4 secondary capacitors of 3300uF capable of withstanding up to 80V.
  • The stereo final stage in class AB is stable up to loads of 1 Ω stereo or 2 Ω mono, has a total of 20 BJT each of 15A/220V impulse: solidity, power and heat dissipation without any compromise.
  • Hi-Pass and Lo-Pass filters excludable and activable separately or in combination to create a Band-Pass filter for each speaker.
  • Parametric equalizer with adjustment of Frequency, Q and Gain to optimize the response of the single speaker.
  • Full range Pre out output for relaunching the signal to other amplifiers in the chain in a multiamplified system.

The Hertz SPL Show line offers a range of components developed for those accustomed to a powerful sound system, but who desire an even more overwhelming and uncontainable sound.
