HiFonics HF-SC2-ISO 2-channel high-to-low level signal converter

HiFonics signal converters impress with their absolutely brilliant sound properties. The result is not by chance: the developers paid great attention to excellent technical data from the design phase. The results are both visible and audible: sensationally high signal-to-noise ratios of 115-121 dB, with very low distortion factors of 0.001%. They are designed to be connected to conventional car radios that output up to 50 watts RMS per channel at 2 ohms.

As an additional special feature, the multichannel converters are equipped with an onboard summing function. This circuit is a "must" for many new vehicles when the music signal cannot be picked up "all at once", but the frequency ranges for the speakers installed from the factory have been electrically separated. A conventional converter would be completely useless in this case. With the HF-SC converters, the separate output signals from the factory system can simply be merged again by activating the "MIXED" function. The sophisticated electronics then generate a full-range signal at the outputs, with which external DSP or amplifiers can be optimally powered.

Thanks to EPS®, the converters can also be easily connected to factory radios that have a so-called load sensing circuit. Another interference suppression function can be activated via the "Floating Ground" jumpers.

Thanks to convenient ISO connectors, there is no need to cut cables behind the car radio. Simply unplug the connector from the radio, adapt the wiring of the ISO versions and you're done. If the car radio does not have an ISO connection, you can adapt over 100 other vehicles with the optional MPK T-cable adapters and get a complete plug+play system.
