Crunch GPX2000.5 Hybrid 5-Channel Amplifier (AB + D), Class D Subwoofer Channel

GPX2000.5D integrates the Crunch GPX amplifier series with a "can do it all" on 5 channels of the highest quality. Covered in dual platinum laminate, the amplifier delivers a maximum power of 2000 Watts (1000 W RMS), allowing it to handle a complete system including a pair of front speakers, rear speakers and a subwoofer. The strong point: GPX2000.5 is stable on the mono channel 1 ohm and is therefore perfect for all current subwoofers.

HYBRID - CLASS A/B & D
The modern hybrid design combines the good sound characteristics of a Class A/B amplifier with fast bipolar transistors for the front and rear channels with those of a highly efficient Class D monoblock for the sub-channel. Therefore, for stereo channels, power up to 125 watts RMS at 2 ohm is available, the implemented and separately controlled Class D monoblock makes it stable up to 500 watts RMS at 1 ohm.

A controllable bass boost provides extra punch, while a variable subsonic filter protects the low frequency range from harmful frequencies below the tuning frequency. With the GPX wired remote control, the bass range can be optimally adjusted. With the smart switch, the RCA input can be switched from 2 channels via 4 channels or to 5 channels. In this way the optically unsightly Y-cinch cables can be completely eliminated.
