FPS 4160 for superior sound quality
The dual power supply present in the 4.160 FPS with a single circuit allows stable performance in every condition. A heat sink keeps all parts running at the optimal temperature. Focal engineers have defined an extremely direct and linear signal path of the input circuits, so music travels through the amplifier with maximum fidelity, sound quality and minimal noise and interference disruption.
Directly during the design phase, two ports were inserted in the connection area to connect as many super-caps, calibrated and studied in step with the amplifiers, to significantly increase dynamic performance. In fact the FPS goes from the default 18,800 microF up to a capacity of 42,500 microF.

Plug-in capacitors A pair of external capacitors connect directly to the amplifier, mitigating any voltage fluctuations caused by sudden system demands, so as to allow maximum consistency in sound quality. . The FPS 4.160 amplifier accepts two High Cap modules, one for each section of the dual power supply.
