JL Audio FiX-86 DSP for OEM with automatic time correction and digital EQ.

FiX-86 features 8 input channels and 4 channels for stereo outputs plus 2 RCA channels for subwoofer. It is a state-of-the-art digital signal processor designed to deliver exceptional sound from factory source units while maintaining OEM fader control.

Unlike typical OEM interface products, FiX 86 automatically corrects the time-delayed factory outputs before signal summing and EQ correction. Calibration requires only a single button press and approximately 30 seconds to complete, without the need for special equipment. With a powerful 24-bit DSP processor and quad 1/3 octave equalizers, complex factory signals from 3-way front and 2-way rear speakers are combined and automatically aligned into six full-range stereo signals: Front (fader controlled), rear outputs (fader controlled) and subwoofer (no fading, front + rear summed).

By connecting a PC with TüN software via USB, you can access a complete suite of diagnostic panels that display the frequency response of input signals and corrected outputs. You can make adjustments to insert polarity, muting and filtering, and new calibrations can also be initiated from the PC. By clicking on the "TUNE" tab of the TüN interface, you can also access four user-adjustable 10-band graphic equalizers to fine-tune the output signals.

Differential-balanced inputs accept virtually any OEM analog audio signal, from amplified low-voltage speaker level outputs to high-power line level (up to 30 V RMS).

Activation methods include 12 volt or Auto Turn-On (Signal / DC-Offset Sensing) to trigger a dedicated remote turn-on output for aftermarket equipment.

An optional DRC-100 or DRC-200 digital remote control (sold separately) adds master volume control and / or subwoofer level control from the driver's seat.
