Awave DSP12 Digital Signal Processor 6-in 12-out

The AWAVE 12 DSP car audio processor is able to interface with any analog and/or digital source, transforming normal "audio" into a high-performance integrated system. The simple and intuitive computer software guarantees a wide range of adjustments to improve the acoustic response of a complex environment like a car cabin. It features 20 signal inputs with different connection options: twelve high-level inputs, which also accept low-level preamplified signals; a stereo auxiliary input and a digital optical input that accepts signals with a sampling frequency up to 96/24 bit. The digital optical input (selectable via the DRC remote control and from the "Optical / AUX select" terminal) eliminates interference and signal deterioration even by-passing the A/D conversion stages of analog signals. The DSP12 has 12 PRE OUT analog outputs, each of which includes: a 31-band equalizer, a 68-stage electronic crossover, Linkwitz-Riley or Butterworth filters with slopes adjustable from 6 to 24 dB and digital delay functions.

Developed according to the specific ergonomic criteria required by the Car Audio industry, the PC software facilitates direct access to all available functions for signal processing, providing immediate results, as well as extreme operational precision. Setting the parameters of each individual input channel, adjusting delays based on listening position, tuning crossovers and equalizers for each output channel: these are just some of the functions that the software has.
