An audiophile-level crossover would be too large and too expensive to build into an amplifier. With a built-in crossover you are sacrificing sound quality for convenience. Zapco crossovers are designed to provide the best possible sound quality and the versatility needed for the most advanced sound systems.
Zapco ASP-X4 was originally designed to match the LX amplifiers, and it is a versatile tool: thanks to its filters it is possible to run a three-way system or a 4-way system. You can also have an active three-way system and a full rear fill, and with the dual input system it is possible to fade between the main 3-way system and the rear fill. For that little touch... the X4 is designed to match the Z series chassis. Since this crossover will likely be displayed with amplifiers, Zapco has illuminated the clear plastic protective cover for that extra touch in the installation.
