The AMPLIFY 206 DIRECT expands the Series 2 with a 6-channel option featuring essential design, capable of covering a wide range of DSP-based applications in modern vehicles.

Thanks to its fully bridge-connectable architecture, the amplifiers can be flexibly configured in 3, 4, 5 or 6-channel mode. The high output power and compact Class D design make it suitable both for fully active 3-way front systems (in combination with a DSP) in 6-channel mode, and for classic 5-channel setups, where channels 1-4 drive front and rear speakers, while channels 5/6 bridge-connected deliver up to 380 Watts RMS at 4 Ω to a dedicated subwoofer.

Overall, the 206 DIRECT offers ample power reserves with 6 x 100 Watts RMS at 4 Ω, 6 x 190 Watts RMS at 2 Ω or 3 x 380 Watts RMS in bridge mode at 4 Ω, making it ideal for any application, from refined multi-way systems to dynamic front/rear/subwoofer configurations.

This makes the 206 DIRECT an extraordinarily flexible amplifier in its category, with a clear focus on efficient and transparent power amplification. By intentionally forgoing conventional input filters, maximum signal purity is maintained, while the simplified series of essential control elements ensures reliable and trouble-free operation. AMPLIFY DIRECT designed for external DSP

The DIRECT models, equipped with DirectDSP inputs, have been specifically designed for use in DSP-based audio systems that require clean, efficient and transparent amplification.

Thanks especially to the focus on essential control elements and fundamental components, impeccable operation is guaranteed. By eliminating conventional input filtering, they ensure uncompromised signal integrity and maximum clarity throughout the entire signal path. A high-quality gain stage and a clipping LED allow precise level adjustment, while the minimalist architecture of the inputs reduces noise and distortion to the absolute minimum. A practical stereo/mono selector for each stereo input also allows bridge-mode operation with a single RCA signal, eliminating the need for external Y adapters.
