New functions, new controls... and better sound quality too.

The new coaxial and optical inputs accept digital signal from the head unit or from a portable HD player. The DSP-IV units also feature a port for HD Bluetooth streaming (with the optional HD-BT module). An interactive digital port further expands your options. The port accepts control input from the Dash Remote remote control included, which allows you to change the input source, select the track, control master volume and even the system bass amplifier output. The new ADSP-Z8 IV-6AT amplifier has 6 amplified channels, while the ADSP-Z12IV 1o-A (with 12-channel DSP) has 12 amplified channels and the ADSP-Z16IV 12-A (with 16-channel DSP) has 12 amplified channels. As for the graphical interface, the added Advanced menu also features a mixing set and an AutoTune function (except for 12 and 16 channel models), when you add the optional tuning microphone.


The new DSP-Z8 IV AT offers more options for input selection. You can have a maximum of 8 input channels that can be set instantly simply by choosing 2-Ch, 4-Ch, 6-Ch or 8-Ch in the inputs section of the first page. If you need to sum the channels of a factory stereo to get a full-range input, just click SUM and the system will do it all for you. But if your system is more complicated than the standard, you also have the option to access the Advanced menu and use the Mixing Set to manually assign to each channel exactly the amount of input from each input channel that works best for your particular audio configuration.
